WORD OF GOD

John 1:1-4. 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

The word of God is life
The word of God is power
The word of God does not just go out for fun.
The word of God is for a purpose
The word might be for you
The word of God given to you at a given point time is the given solution to your problem at that present moment. Do not Ignore it. It is dangerous to ignore it.

Irrespective of place/who/vessel (It might be a sinner, mad man, false/true prophet, pastor, evangelist, etc.) God use to speak His word "it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

Many of us have ignored the word of God in one way or the other as a result of the way/vessel He chose to use. Majority has been a victim of this. I will share two testimonies to support this fact, one physical testimony and the other biblical testimony

There was a testimony shared by someone sometimes ago. The man was on the highway at a very top speed, of a sudden he realised that there was something wrong with one of his tyres, so he decided to park. As he got down from his car, he went to check the tyres, he noticed that the four bolt tying one of the tyre to the wheel has all removed. Infact he imagined how God has made the tyre with no bolt not to remove at a very top speed. This man wan thinking of what next to do, he was thinking maybe he should call one of his machanics to bring bolts for him because he was in a very remote area that he couldn't see a mechanic. While he was thinking, a mad man was passing by and told him in his native language, "Why are you disturbing yourself, why don't you remove a bolt each from the other three tyres and use it in to tie the loose tyre to its wheel". He first thought the mad man was saying nonsense. But after the mad man went, he thought of the word that the mad man said and he saw sense in the word. And Immediately he did what the mad man told him to do, that word gave him the solution that brought him out of that problem.

In 2 Kings 5:1-14, we were made to know a man who was a captain of the host of the king of Syria but was leprous. A word of God came through Naaman's maid that he should go to Samaria that there was prophet that is in Samaria! (2Kings 5:3). If Naaman had ignored the word of God that came through his maid he would have remain leprous for the rest of his life.

Never under rate anybody/anything/anyplace with the word of God for your life at that point in time, the solution to that thing you are going through is with Him that present point in time. Most of the times God uses people/things lower than us to speak to us to see how humble we are.
Never joke with the word of God anytime, anywhere, anyhow. It might just be for you at that moment. Handle the words of God with care, it doesn't not go out for fun. It is for a purpose.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

HAVE YOU IN ANYWAY IGNORED GOD'S WORD FOR YOUR LIFE FOR A PARTICULAR TIME/SEASON, MAY GOD GIVE YOU THE GRACE TO RECOVER IT BACK IN JESUS NAME
MAY GOD GIVE YOU THE GRACE TO BE SENSITIVE TO HIS WORD AT ANY POINT IN TIME IN  JESUS NAME

GOD IS WITH YOU! DON'T GIVE UP!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Rom 8:28

Relax! Don't Panic! Everything is working all together for your own good.
Are you going through one of the toughest moments in life, Don't forget what God told you, He said He's with you in that fire, water, or river that you are going through presently (Isaiah 43:2). And If God Himself is present in that hard times that you are going through presently know that it is going to work for your good than later.

The word of God says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that He will never give you the temptation that you can't bear (There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13)

For you to go through that tempting times, it means you can bear it. So please Don't give up. God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). He said the hard times you are going through is going to work together for your good because you love Him. And he also said He will never give you the temptation that you can't bear

Never be Depressed! Comfort yourself with the word of God at all times (1-Thessalonians 4:18) It strengthens! It gives hope!

DON'T GIVE UP ON YOURSELF. YOU ARE GOING THROUGH THAT HARD TIMES THAT YOU WILL COME OUT MUCH STRONGER. YOU ARE MORE THAN CONQUEROR! (ROM 8:37) JESUS HAS NEVER LOST A BATTLE YOU WILL NEVER LOOSE ONE BECAUSE HE IS YOUR ELIJAH, AND YOU ARE HIS ELISHA

FACE THAT BATTLE RIGHT NOW!
FACE THAT DIFFICULT/HARD TIMES RIGHT NOW!
FACE THAT TEMPTING TIMES RIGHT NOW
YOU WILL OVERCOME!!!!
YOUR VICTORY IS SURE IN CHRIST JESUS PUT YOUR GAZE ON HIM AND YOU WILL NOT FALL IN JESUS NAME!!!!!!

GREEDINESS KILLS

If is there is one thing we all know that can cut one's destiny short and hinder the fulfillment of God's plan for our life is greediness. Greediness is a sin which will should be beware of. Greediness deprives us from heavenly and other good benefits God has in stock for us. Gehazi could have been two times more powerful than Elisha and four times more powerful than Elijah but greediness couldn't allow him. Gehazi exchanged his glorious destiny with just two talents of silver and two changes of garment, not just that only, he got leprosy with it also. Satan realized this weak point of Gehazi, dealt with him in his weak area and robbed him of his glorious destiny. Gehazi was never mention in the Bible since then. This is the reward of greediness. 

Ananias and Sapphira are another examples of individuals that played the role of greed in the Bible (Acts 2:1-11). What baffles me the most is that Ananias and Sapphira were not forced to sell the land and bring the money to the house of God, they did it in their own freewill. What I think they would have done is that, they would of told the apostles that they will be selling the land and they will be giving the house of God a portion of the money. I think this would have settled the whole matter instead of them telling lies against the Holy Spirit and died as a result. They both died as a result of their unfaithfulness and greediness. 

Adam and Eve were another example of greed. We can say the origin of greediness is from Adam and Eve. We see that the greediness of Adam and Eve cost us the garden of Eden thereby we toiling for anything before we can have it. Maybe If Adam and Eve had not taken of the fruit of the tree of knowledge I think we all will still be living happily, gloriously, bond-free in the garden of Eden. We will not have to work/struggle/labour before we will eat. We can see what our first parents has cost us all just because of their greediness. Satan knew that they will be happy to eat the fruit because they want to know the good from evil, so he convinced Eve to eat of the fruit, greediness that is what i termed this. God has given them the privilege to eat of all the fruit of the tree of the garden but not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge only. Disobedience and greediness couldn't allow the original glorious plan for man be fulfilled. Thank God for His grace that he showed us by sending His only begotten son to come and die for you and me to cleanse the bad deed that has been laid down by our first parents 

A greedy man is a wicked man. A greedy man is a covetous man. A greedy man does not want good for his/her neighbour because he wants all the good things of life for himself alone. 

Rewards and Results of Greediness 
1.Greediness make one a candidate of hell: Ananias and Sapphira destination will be hell fire, because they lied against the Holyspirit which led to their death. They died unrepentant 
2. Greediness make one a candidate of death: Greed was the cause of the death of Ananias and Sapphira 
3. Greediness cut one destiny short: We can see how Gehazi's destiny was cut short because of his destiny. Gehazi could have been another great and powerful prophet in his days. 
4. Greediness can cost us the fulfillment of God's glorious plan for our life: We can see what our first parents cost us because of their greediness. They made us toil before we eat, struggle/labour before we can achieve a particular thing. That is what greediness can do. 
The reward of greed is not good at all. It is better we prevent and cease from being a greedy fellow

GIVE GOD THANKS

Many of us don't see reasons to thank God. We do compare ourselves with those that are better than us but we fail to compare ourselves to those will are better of. This is very unfair. The time we start comparing ourselves with those that we are better of, I think that day we will cease to be an Ingrate. In anything you are going through presently one thing you should note is that it could have been worse. The fact that it is not worst than it is presently. Remember what 1 Thess 5:16 says "in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. So my brother and sisters, Give thanks to GOD!

If it is because you can see with your eyes alone, (those that are blind did not offend God, It is just by His grace you can see) give God thanks

If it is because you can walk with your two legs alone, (is not that God is angry with those that are lame or those that they've their legs amputated, It is just by His grace you can walk)give God thanks

If it is because you can talk with your mouth, (those that are dumb is not that wish to be like that, but the grace of God is the one that make you speak) give God thanks

If it is because you can move your fingers alone, (those that have static fingers are not God's enemies, but it is just by His grace you can move your fingers) give God thanks

If it is because you are living, (some of the people that are dead are even holier than you that is living, so don't think it is your righteousness that has kept you thus far, NO! It is the grace of God) give God thanks

If it is because you can think with your brain, (Those that are insane did not offend God, but it please God to make you reason with your own brain) give God thanks

If it is because you have peace of mind alone (Those places/people that are experiencing one trouble/chaos or the other, it is not that God hate them, It is by His grace.) give God thanks

If it is because you are blessed (It is not the tithe/offering that you give that makes God bless you, some people pay their tithe/offering as at when due even in the right proportion yet they are not blessed still. It is grace) give thanks.

If it is because you don't have money (Some people that have money today spend money on sickness, court cases, etc. The fact that you have a good health and peace of mind, It worth much more than money. Don't forget this saying that says "HEALTH IS WEALTH")give God thanks

If it is because you are alive to see the month of December (Is not that those that couldn't make it to December are sinners, some of them are even more righteous than we are. It is the grace of God.) give God thanks.

Don't forget the bible verse that talks about God will have mercy upon whom He will have mercy on, and also will He have compassion on whom he wants to have compassion on, Rom 9:15, Exodus 33:19. Don't take the mercy of God in your life for granted, it is the grace of God upon your life that makes His mercy work on your behalf.

Also do not forget the bible verse that says Matt 3:7-9 "7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones."

So, rise on your feet appreciate that grace of God that made you be counted for mercy, Go ahead!

Count your blessings this morning, and give thanks unto your creator...

It is not to late to carry your own child (You might be thinking that, you are close to menopause: Menopause is a mere word that exists in the dictionary of the earthly doctors (gynecologists) but doesn't exist in the dictionary of the God that produces and give babies, moreover it is menopause and not meno stop. You can still carry your own child. So, don't kill yourself with depressions. Depressions might even kill you even before the baby arrives. All you need to do is to rejoice ahead for the miracle of the baby you are waiting for so that when the baby comes it will meet you in a good and better condition.

Yours might not be a child! It might be a good job, a good car, a good life partner, a good and might mansion,a good business, admission into one of the best universities etc. Never get depressed over any desires of your heart.

DO NOT GIVE DEPRESSION A CHANCE OVER YOUR LIFE!
DEPRESSION KILLS EVEN BEFORE YOUR MIRACLE ARRIVES.
NEVER GET DEPRESSED OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES, HE WILL DO IT, HE'S ABLE!!!!!

JEHOVAH SHARP SHARP

Here is another name of God "Jehovah Sharp Sharp" Does it sound funny to your hearing? It shouldn't, not at all.I will show you how God can act sharp sharp over your situation, Open you Bible with me to 2 Samuel 6:1-23. We were made to know a man called Obededom, the poorest in the city of Israel. It was time for Jehovah Sharp Sharp to answer Obededom that was why the anger of God was kindled against  Uzzah and was smote immediately before the ark of God (2 Sam 6:7).David the king was afraid of what happened and was very afraid of the ark coming to him(2 Samuel 6:9).So he thought of where to keep the ark of God, then he thought of the poorest in the land of Israel who is of no relevance: And he carried the ark of God to the house of Obededom(2nd Samuel 6:10), and the ark of God continued in the house of obededom for three months. The presence of the ark of God in Obededom's house did not only blessed him but included his entire household. What a Sharp Sharp God. Obededom and family were made billionaires in just three months. Can you Imagine!If you were in the position of Obededom what name will you give to God. If it is me I will prefer "Jehovah Sharp Sharp"Note this "It pleased God to destroy Uzzah just to make Obededom and household to be blessed." because if it was not that the ark of God struck Uzzah dead, David won't have thought carrying the ark of God to Obededom's house. To confirm this, 2 Samuel 6:12 said when David heard how Obededom and family have been blessed for just three months that the ark of God has spent with him. He immediately planned how to get the ark of God out of Obededoms' house "2 Samuel 6:12".Don't think of how God can do it, Don't think of when God will do it, Don't think of those that has gone ahead of you! Because in due time you will overtake them. Just put your gaze on Him. "HE IS JEHOVAH SHARP SHARP"
